Behaviour Help

Is your dog’s behaviour worrying, confusing, or becoming difficult to live with?

If your dog is barking, reacting on walks, seeming anxious, showing resource guarding behaviour, or doing things that are hard to understand, you are not alone.

I offer calm, evidence-based behaviour support in Bridgend, South Wales, and online to help you make sense of what may be influencing your dog’s behaviour, so you feel less unsure about what to do next.

If you are living with behaviour that feels worrying, confusing, or difficult to manage, you want answers you can actually trust.

My job is to slow things down and look carefully at what is going on. That includes your dog’s day-to-day life, what they have learned from past experiences, and things that might be influencing their behaviour without you realising.

I am here to help you understand why the behaviour is happening, what matters most, and where to focus next.

That understanding often makes it easier to know what to do, what to stop worrying about, and what may help daily life feel more manageable again.

My role is to offer calm, evidence-based insight without judgement or pressure. You will not be left trying to figure things out on your own. After the assessment, you will have a clear starting point. Support then continues over the following two months as you begin putting things into practice.

Behaviour Assessment with 2 Months of Guided Support

This package is for dogs whose behaviour feels worrying, confusing, or difficult to make sense of. It is suitable for anxiety, fear, reactivity, aggression, and other behaviour that leaves you unsure how best to support your dog.

The aim is to understand what may be influencing your dog’s behaviour, what matters most to pay attention to, and where to focus next.

This is not just a one-off visit. The assessment is followed by two months of guided support, so you are not left trying to figure things out on your own as things begin to unfold in daily life.

How the process works:

Step 1. Discovery call

We start with a short video or phone call to check whether we are a good fit to work together. This gives you space to explain what has been happening and ask questions about the process. During this call, we also discuss whether a veterinary check may be needed first to rule out medical factors before moving ahead.

Step 2. Pre-assessment questionnaire

You complete a detailed questionnaire about your dog’s history, daily life, and current concerns. This gives me the background I need before we meet.

Step 3. Questionnaire review call

We have a short video or phone call to go through your questionnaire together. This allows us to clarify details, explore patterns, and make sure I have a full picture of what is happening for your dog.

Step 4. Behaviour assessment and rehabilitation work begins

We meet for a 90-minute assessment, either in person or via Zoom where appropriate. During this session, we explore what may be influencing your dog’s behaviour, when and where difficulties show up, and how different factors connect. Where appropriate, we also begin rehabilitation work during this session, focusing on practical, low-pressure ways to support your dog and reduce risk in everyday situations.

Step 5. Mid-point support visit

Around the middle of the support period, we meet again for a follow-up visit. This gives us space to review how things are going, look at what is changing, and make any adjustments needed.

Step 6. Ongoing guided support over the 2 months

Support continues throughout the two-month period. This includes regular check-ins, space to ask questions as things come up, and WhatsApp or email contact for urgent questions if needed.

Step 7. End-of-programme review

At the end of the two months, we have a 30-minute visit or video call to review progress and look at whether any further support would be helpful.

After the two months

Some dogs and families need a bit more support over a longer period. If that would be helpful, ongoing month-by-month support is available at £99 per month.

What people are saying..

" I contacted Caroline about my dog-reactive dog as at the time I felt pretty low but knew I didn't want to give up on my 9 year old girl. Caroline was very patient, listened really well and gave us great, informative information advice aswell as setting up a plan we were clear and confident with.

Caroline does not use adverse methods which gave me confidence and allowed me to trust her process.
A few months on and there is a massive difference in my dog. She's more confident, happier and trust's me more out on walks to be able to make good decisions for her.

I highly recommend Caroline as a dog behaviourist as she has helped us turn it around for my girl so she is a much happier dog again ❤️"
