Separation Anxiety

If your dog finds it hard to be left alone, you are not alone. Separation anxiety can affect every part of daily life. It can feel stressful, restrictive, and difficult to know how to move forward.

This programme is designed to help you understand how separation anxiety rehabilitation works and how to support your dog through it in a gradual, thoughtful way. The aim is to help you feel clearer about what your dog is finding difficult, what to focus on, and how to move forward.

Does this sound like your dog?

Your dog may benefit from this programme if they:

  • become anxious, vocal, or destructive when left alone

  • struggle to settle when you move out of the room

  • show signs of stress or panic when you prepare to leave

  • pace, drool, pant, or show other stress signals when alone

What this programme helps with

The aim is to help you:

  • understand your dog’s starting point

  • work at your dog’s pace

  • follow a clear plan rather than guessing

  • feel more certain about what to do next

  • continue the process with more confidence after the programme ends

How support works

This is a 6-week remote support programme and includes:

  • a free 15 to 20 minute discovery call

  • an online questionnaire

  • an initial video call to look at your dog’s current starting point

  • a written separation anxiety protocol tailored to your dog

  • weekly check-ins for 6 weeks

  • video feedback on your training

  • a mid-programme review video call

  • a final review video call

  • a written summary with next steps

  • email support throughout

Programme fee

6-week Separation Anxiety Support Programme: £199

A deposit of £99.50 secures your place.

The remaining £99.50 is due at week 3.

A few important notes

This programme is for dogs who show distress when left alone and are generally healthy, with no known medical issues contributing to the problem.

Some dogs may need a different starting point, particularly where medical factors or more complex behaviour are involved. If that applies, I will let you know honestly and talk you through the most appropriate next step.

Progress varies from dog to dog. Some dogs make changes quickly, while others need longer-term support.

If you are based in the Bridgend area and would prefer a house call, please let me know and we can discuss options.
